Advent Devotionals 2020

Blessings to you in this Advent Season! The word "Advent" comes from the Latin word "adventus" which translates as "coming." The Season of Advent has long been held as a  time of spiritual preparation for the birth of our lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Christmas.  During the four weeks preceding Christmas, Christ followers have focused their hearts and minds on the four themes of Advent, represented in the lighting of the candles of the Advent Wreath: Hope, Love, Joy, and Peace.

This year, members of our congregation were asked to write devotionals for Advent.  We hope that as you join us on this journey to Christmas, your life is enriched and you take time reflect on this holy season of waiting.
