UMVIM exists to promote, encourage and enable Christians to exemplify “Christian Love in Action” through short-term mission service at home and abroad.
UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief)
The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to alleviating human suffering around the globe. UMCOR’s work includes programs and projects in disaster response, health, sustainable agriculture, food security, relief supplies, and more.
Society of St. Andrew
The Society of St. Andrew has salvaged fresh, nutritious produce from American farms – produce that otherwise would be left to rot – and delivered it to agencies across the nation that serve the poor.

Our mission is to end hunger in our lifetime by providing food and life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable and creating a global commitment to mobilize the necessary resources.

305 8th Street is comprised of a group of adults who need full-time supervision including daily assistance, case management, and transportation.
First Stop
First Stop, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) corporation established in 2001 to reduce the number of homeless persons in Huntsville/Madison County, Alabama communities.
Boys & Girls Club
Our Youth tutor boys and girls every Wednesday afternoon, developing lasting relationships with the children who take part.
Manna House
Manna House is a 501(c)3 Public Charity that provides food assistance to those in need. We are supported by contributions from individuals, churches, civic groups, and businesses. While some food is donated and locally grown most is purchased for our distribution programs.
New Futures
New Futures operates the Marilyn Mabry Family Lodge which features an fourteen bedroom facility with private bathrooms and a shared kitchen, living room, etc. Food pantry items are available to help families supplement any assistance they receive.
Friends Inc.
Through caring volunteers, and with no cost to the patient or their family, FRIENDS, INC. offers multiple support services to seriously ill and disabled patients, helping them to cope with their new circumstances and enabling them to maintain their independence.
Monte Sano Baptist Church
Monte Sano Baptist Church is our next door neighbor on the mountain. We are proud to do ministry together, hoping to serve the greater Monte Sano and Huntsville communities.
Monte Sano Village
Monte Sano Village is a membership-based, non-profit organization supporting the efforts of mountain residents to remain in their homes for as long as possible by enhancing a vibrant, inter-generational community and by connecting neighbors with a network of services and resources.
HEALS Clinics
HEALS, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in Huntsville, Alabama dedicated to providing accessible quality, school-based primary health care for children through collaborative efforts with the Huntsville City/Madison County school systems and the medical community.
