Monte Sano United Methodist Church gets in the Christmas Spirit early every year with Santa for Seniors.  In November, we partner with TARCOG (Top of Alabama Regional Council of Governments) to meet the needs of seniors in North Alabama.  Santa for Seniors is an opportunity to help a special group of people who are often neglected during the holiday season...senior citizens living at or near the poverty line.

Often the gifts received through Santa for Seniors are the only gifts they will receive in a given year.  Their requests are everything from socks to warm blankets to recliners and basic toiletries. Our church family generously meets and often exceeds what has been asked for.
