Come Worship on the Mountain
For thousands of years, human beings have sought healing and God’s holy presence on mountain tops.  The history of our own mountain, Monte Sano, is steeped in stories of health and healing dating back to the 1800’s. We continue that tradition today in the life and ministry of Monte Sano United Methodist Church.  You are invited to join us as we seek to celebrate the healing light of Christ through prayer, love and service by becoming a part of our church family. We hope you find rest, rejuvenation, and a renewed sense of calling to go forth in love and service.  All are welcome to worship on the mountain.

Current Sermon Series

We live in a world of polarization and categorization. It seems like we give everyone a label that they must accept or rebel against, and these labels almost never speak to the fullness of a person’s beliefs. In this series, we will be looking at some of the labels we give people in the church: Orthodox, Liberal, Spiritual, and Methodist.

This Week's Sermon

"Spiritual" (May 13, 2018)

Pentecost Sunday. What does it mean to be ‘spiritual?’ The definition of this label has changed quite a bit over the last 2000 years. This sermon explores what it has meant to be spiritual in the past and what it means to be ‘spiritual but not religious’ today.

Columbarium & Memorial Garden

Monte Sano United Methodist Church would like to offer our church family and the surrounding community a beautiful, peaceful, spiritual and affordable place on the mountain as an option for a final resting place.  We have a Columbarium/Memorial Garden on the church property for inurnment or scattering of ashes and to memorialize loved ones.
