Come Worship on the Mountain
For thousands of years, human beings have sought healing and God’s holy presence on mountain tops.  The history of our own mountain, Monte Sano, is steeped in stories of health and healing dating back to the 1800’s. We continue that tradition today in the life and ministry of Monte Sano United Methodist Church.  You are invited to join us as we seek to celebrate the healing light of Christ through prayer, love and service by becoming a part of our church family. We hope you find rest, rejuvenation, and a renewed sense of calling to go forth in love and service.  All are welcome to worship on the mountain.

Discovery Weekend August 15-17

Join us for a wonderful weekend of spiritual formation and fun for our Youth. The event is especially for mid-highs. This includes rising sixth graders. The senior highs are the leaders and will give talks, perform skits and help lead discussion groups along with the adults. Discovery’s goal is for all youth and adults to experience God’s love. The weekend is August 17-19, 2018 and is a joint event of the youth groups from Monte Sano United Methodist Church and Holmes Street United Methodist Church. Some activities will be held at Holmes Street UMC and others will occur at Monte Sano UMC.

Upcoming Sermon Series: Won't You Be My Neighbor?

Join us in the month of August as we look at how we build deeper and more meaningful community, with a little help from Fred Rogers!

This Week's Sermon

"The Power of Pestering" (July 29, 2018)

Jesus shares a parable that the gospel writer interprets on his behalf. But is that really the correct interpretation? Does the writer get it right? Themes of justice permeate this important parable!

Columbarium & Memorial Garden

Monte Sano United Methodist Church would like to offer our church family and the surrounding community a beautiful, peaceful, spiritual and affordable place on the mountain as an option for a final resting place.  We have a Columbarium/Memorial Garden on the church property for inurnment or scattering of ashes and to memorialize loved ones.
