The development of one’s faith is an incredibly part of any person’s development as a Disciple of Jesus Christ.  Because of this importance, Monte Sano United Methodist Church strives to offer a variety or ways a person can develop both their faith and a sense of community.

Christian education takes many different forms at Monte Sano United Methodist Church:

Sunday School

On Sunday mornings we have a traditional Sunday School program for all ages:

-Children’s Sunday School classes are broken down by age groups to provide age-appropriate lessons on Bible stories and biblical themes.  All children meet for Children’s Sunday School meets in the Fellowship Hall, then

-Youth meet in the Administration & Youth Building for Sunday School between the two services.  Our youth director and adult volunteers teach Youth Sunday School.

-Adult Sunday School Classes also meet in the Administration & Youth Building.  We offer three different Sunday School options for adults.

Small Groups

A variety of short and long-term small groups are offered throughout the year at Monte Sano UMC.  These groups regularly meet for Bible Study or to discuss a topical book.  Groups meet at varying times throughout the week, including on Wednesday nights and, sometimes, on Sunday mornings.
